most of the sites have been going down lately, even suprnova wasnt working yesterday, dunno about today tho... is this the end?

no, cause some sites start using bittorrent as an option for downloading demos etc. so i believe that maybe the illigal part may be cut down, but bittorrent lives on

Why people think that warez sites using bittorrent are going to do so much better than warez sites using plain http transfers, I don't know.

That and bittorrent seems to be gaining acceptance as a distribution medium. Most of my demos are now downloaded via Bittorrent links. As well as gaming videos etc.

That's true, but you commented on a feature of bittorrent that was comparable to Napster.
