Encrypted File Recovery??

I forgot to unencrypt a folder before doing a clean reinstall. Now when I try to access, it tells me access is denied. Is there anything I can do to recover these files? I also posted this in Tech Support.
 
You encrypted them so that people couldn't get access to them, when you reinstalled the OS you lost your key which is the only way to decrypt them. It's just working how you wanted it to.
