Encoder or something?

I have a Divx movie I want to encode (I think that's the word) for better quaility. Do any of you guys know where I can find one?

You can't do it with audio, either. Once you've compressed something, there's no making it better from that compressed form.

Turning a low quality DivX into a high quality DivX would be like turning sh!t back into a steak and potatoes meal.

If you ever figure out how to do it, let me know!

DV Alchemy...hmmmmm

If the movie is scrambling to the point of freezing there is a utility called DiVX fixer that basically reindexes the film and cuts out frames that are completely corrupted. Look it up on google or something and try reindexing the film. Besides that you cant raise the quality of the image.
