Enclusure Nexstar 2

blackinches has a nexstar for a 2.5in drive. but the nexstar 2 is for 3.5in drives? blackinches doesn't see how that's more trouble than swapping out drives. as opposed to just leaving it plugged in via usb or firewire.

let me just add something

I needed more storage so I went down and picked up a WD/HD 120 GB and also a enclusure Nexstar 2 installed the software and ran it. It said for storage or partition. I went with storage dragged and dropped the data in the drive and everything worked great! The next day i plug it back in the USB/Firewire. I get this error message?

F:\ is not accessible. the file or directory is corrupted and unreadable

I install the drive in the computer same message? I tried different jumper setting didnt seem to make a difference. What happened should i toss the enclusure all together? What recommendations should i follow with transferring harddrive with data between systems?
Thanks...

If you don't need to carry the HDs around, mobile rack system is a way better option, especially the newer SATA hotswap version.

if you are running xp you don't even need the software that comes with the nexstar. blackinches believes you just format it with windows and use like a regular drive.
