Enabling higher resolutions on D600 Dell

The panel is capable of 1152 and so is the Radeon 9000 Mobility. Anyone know how to enable my higher rez? I tried updating the driver to 1152 but it still indicates a max rez of 1024 under the "List all Modes" drop down.
