Enabling fast writes?

Hello all,

I have fast writes enabled in the BIOS of my KR7A RAID but sandra tells me sidebanding and fastwrites are both disabled? sup with dat? do I need a reg hack like in 98?

as far as what i have been told about (fastwrites) nvidia no longer supports them in most of there chipsets on cards. my helcules 3d prophet doesn't, as far as i no only the elsa series had models that still support fastwrites. so if your card doesn't support fastwrites
Sandra is correct in saying that they not enabled even if it is enabled in the bios.

this information is only word of mouth. hope it helps a little

Don't worry about fastwrites. Keep it disabled in the BIOS.
