The DMZ setting in home routers only affects INCOMING connections. If you are browsing the Internet, you are normally initiating OUTBOUND connections to web servers, which are unaffected by DMZ settings.

DMZ settings could affect other "server" functions your PCs are performing, such as hosting games, and P2P, video, and IM functions. But, generally speaking, if you didn't have to "open ports" on your router to get these functions to work in the first place, then your DMZ setting won't matter.

Note that enabling DMZ GREATLY increases the risk of attack on whichever PC you point it to. Be sure you have a PC firewall enabled and that your OS and your web-enabled applications are fully patched.

The Router would work as normal, the trouble would not be with the other computers, the trouble would be with the computer that is on the DMZ.

Putting computer on the DMZ means putting it in front of the Firewall. I.e. the computer is Directly on the Internet. I guess you are the "Sharing" type Guy. Wants to share your computer content with the world.

Rarely there is a reason to put a computer on the DMZ. Clever opening of ports and Port Range should suffice.

P.S. Using software Firewall nullifies the DMZ, so there is No Point to put a computer on the DMZ and use Software Firewall.

It doesn't nullify it, it just shifts the burden of protection. As long as the firewall software lets you configure what connections to allow and you understand what you should and shouldn't allow in you'll be fine.
