Enabling Autorun in Windows 2000

I have gotten to used to doing it through TweakUI. How do I enable Autorun for optical drives in Windows 2000? I need a simple technique. This has to be published with a CD we just released so it is going out to end users. I can't rely on them having TweakUI or being able to edit the registry.

Thanks!

There is no simple way, you either edit the registry, or get a program like tweakui that will do it for you. You could try writing one of those simple .reg files so that all the user has to do is double click the file and the registry is edited.

I quickly created a .reg file to change the autorun to on in the registry. I emailed it to you. If you want it to turn autorun off, simply open it using notepad and change the value beside dword from 1 to 0. You may have already known that though.
