Enabling AGP4x on the A7V.

Hey,

was wondering, I am using win2k. running the Diamond viper V770 TNT2 Ultra (yeah i know!! its old heehe) I have the ASUS A7V mobo. I know for a fact that both my mobo and graphics card support 4x but powerstrip still reports me to be running at 2x. Any ideas how to change this? ALso , i tried the registry hack doesnt seem to work right!!

any help would be appreciates thanks!!!

should be able to change that in the bios of the motherboard.

Well actually I have the A7V-E. i think its a slightly striped down version of of A7V. so i dotn have that option in bios. Atleast there is no place where i am asked whether i would like to run my AGP t 4x or not.

Did you load the VIA AGP driver in "turbo" mode ?

Well I am running Win2K so I loaded it in the AGP4x /133 mode.
