Enabling 3D Vision with Optimus technology

Hey guys, is there a way to enable 3D Vision with optimus technology? I was prety sure it would work, but it doesn`t seem to! I`ve plugged my notebook (which has a GT650m) on my Asus VG278H 3D Display, and I simply can`t turn on 3D! It doesn`t even show up on nVidia`s control pannel as usual!
