Enabling 1 core per compute unit does nothing.

Enabling the option seems to do nothing. Using an FX 8350 with an Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 mobo and I am still seeing 8 cores in task manager. Strange thing is that it was the same case in my older rig, an FX 6100 with Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2PT.

Is it dependent on any other BIOS option?
Thanks.

Maybe the chipset is too old. My 970 based gigabyte mobo works ok in 1 core per module config.
