Im pulling my hair out and I dont have much lol.
Trying to get board to run dual channel,I put 2 2gb ddr2 sticks next to each other in single channel and all works but put them in the same colour slots for dual channel and it will not post boot even into bios .
bios is updated to the latest.
tried both sticks 1 at a time and they both work.
Im not a big gamer so maybe not even notice the differance when its working but I do like something that should work ,working.
thanks in advance.

Processors are Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 Q 2,66GHZ
sorry for few posts should of got them in the one.

Try a few things (if you haven't already):

1) Try the other dual channel slots.
2) Unplug all power to comp, take out motherboard battery, reset CMOS
3) Boot with 1 stick of ram, then set manual voltages for memory (or even a bit over spec)
4) Adjust memory timings manually
5) Increase volts for MCH.
6) Update bios.

Try those and then go back to dual channel config. Have you tried both dual channel slots (of different coloured pairs) to see if it works? Some boards may be very specific on which set of slots to use for dual channel when only using a pair of memory sticks.
