I've built my new system E6600 with EN7950 2 gigs of Corsair Ram bios 507 P5B Deluxe wifi....no matter what resolution I use or DX7 or DX9, my system freezes up after the first map rotation and during the point when the new map is loading (white bar loading on the screen). Anyone else having the same problem...I've got the latest Nividia drivers loade 91.31...

thanks for the replies....I went to the XP event viewer and found 2 occurrences where the game hung twice....funny, I can play for 1 or 2 maps and maybe more then when the next maps loads.....system hangs...at times, I can use the task manager to close COD2 vs rebooting.

Here's the event viewer info...for 2 occurrences of hangs;

Lopri,

No, I've never seen any artifacts...the graphics is great...just randomly, during the time when a map is loading, my system freezes. I've spent the day playing COD vs COD2 and I"ve yet to have a problem.

Try patching the game, there's a patch for Intel Dual Cores included in the newest 1.3 patch.
