Well once again here's another mod for you Enlight 7237 owners out there. Actually it doesn't have to be a 7237 or even an Enlight case but this is what I use so that's how it's named.
I went to Pep Boys earlier today and bought 2x 10" Neon Light Tubes that had the cigarette power adapters on them, some electrical tape, and some double-sided tape. I had a couple spare 4-pin molex splitters laying around that I used.
Take 1 4-pin molex splitter (1 female and 2 male connectors) and cut the make connectors off. Cut the cigarette power adapters off the Neon Light Tubes and attach the wire striped wire from the neon to the yellow wire of the molex. Attach the black wire from the neon tube to one of the black wires on the molex. Discard/remove or tape aside the red and black extra wires from the molex.
I use the molex splitter because it allowed me to attach both neon lights to one split. You could do this any number of ways but this is how I chose to do it.
Using the double-sided tape I attached one light to the bottom of the case and the other light is "strangely" attached to the underside of the power supply. I haven't decided the best place for that second light just yet. I was going to put it at the top of my case but it wouldn't fit without some serious case mods that probably would include some case cutting.
Total cost:
$22.99 each - Neon Light Tube
$1.19 - large roll electrical tape
$2.50 each - 4-pin molex splitter (Radio Shack)
Next week, if I have the time to, I'm going to mod the side panel of my case to include a window. I haven't decided yet to make a window in the side panel or just remove the entire side panel and replace it with a piece of plexiglass that will mount in some channels at the top and bottom of the case.
