eMULE/eDONKEY2000 is OVERrated!

eMule is superb. I can't say how great this P2P application is. The idea of splitting downloads is top-notched. You can find almost anything from eMule, all the iso you want, movies and all kind of music.

I am downloading matrix reloaded as we speak. Don;t know if I want to watch it on my computer screen though. I'll go to the best local cinema to watch this movie

I downloaded dvd screener of about schmidt last night 1.2 gigs. It was released a long time ago so it was well spread but still that is pretty good for just clicking on two links rather than searching all over mirc for it.

It does take a while to get bigger files, but at least you know you'll eventually get the whole thing with the way eMule will find whatever parts are available whenever possible.

Yeah, but that stuff is crap compared to the stuff on edonkey. In all my terabytes of downloads, i've never had a fake before.

My connection is decent... i average about 80kb/s on edonkey. I use to get 150kb/s+, but i don't download as much these days... there's only so much porn you can watch.

No, the reason Krapza runs so fast is because everyone is downloading 3-5mb files (MP3's). Tens of Thousands of people have the same files so it only takes a few seconds to get them.

Low ID means either you have ports that are blocked, or the server is extremely busy. Your high ID doesn't fluctuate unless you have dynamic IP... it's based on a calculation of your IP. Having a higher ID than somebody elses high ID doesn't mean you have priority treatment or anything.

I never said my other method was Kazaa you asshat. You've got some real issues if you're taking file transfer preferences to heart. Get a fvcking life.

Yes... and of course what you download. Things with more people sharing will of course download faster.

Naw, i get in all the time... 95% of my time are on those servers. Just stick them to high priority and you should be fine. The Korean server is probably the fastest of them all... but they're much more limited in what they carry. Still, when you score something on the Korean server, it flies. Only time i get 100kb/s+ on a single file is from the Korean server these days.

Hm how long have you been leaving edonkey up? Have you tried emule? The queue system is beyond 1000 people per computer these days i think, so it takes awhile for you to be worked down the queue... but if you leave your computer on long enough (typically an hour, then my files start to fly), you'll start getting good speed. I suggest using Emule... most servers are using emule these days, and if you're not using emule, you're not part of the credit system... if you're not part of the credit system, then you have no credit on that server, so you're put on last.

well there is no point searching emule, edonkey and overnet for files. that's what the ed2k communities are here for. i got pissed with kazzaa cause i got mostly fakes and that sucked bigtime. now that's pass&eacute;e.
