Empty harddrive, though the files are there? What to do?

Hello.

When I reinserted my WD drive after formatting an old drive on that cable, the WD drive was completly white. I mean, you could go into "My Computor" and click on the drive and see nothing, allthough it said that there were 100g beeing used. There is no faults with the drive though. Anyone knows what to do? Please?

Right click my computer, click manage, go to disk management and mount it?
My only idea.

do a low level formatt using data life guard tools(set all 0's) or do disk managmet like legendary said

you should mention that that WILL overwrite ALL his data.
