A guard at Dunbar Armored Inc. is accused of stealing more than $400,000 in cash from the branch vault earlier this month, police said yesterday. ... Security cameras in the vault and throughout the branch office were disabled for 30 minutes during the robbery. He said the cameras were shut off at noon and turned back on at 12:30 p.m. Although Vedder was seen entering and leaving the vault before and after the security cameras were disabled, Martens said he did not become a suspect until he arrived at work the next day in a 2000 Chevrolet Corvette.

Bahahahahahaa..

Whenever we needed money, we'd rob the airport. To us, it was better than Citibank.

Jeez, you think the first thing he'd buy is a set of steel attache cases and a plane ticket to the Cayman Islands.

That is very sad if people have to get a used car I agree.. Geez put it in the bank or open mulitple bank accounts or just stash it, at least use your brain!

Consumer Rated Condition: Excellent
"Excellent" condition means that the vehicle looks great, is in excellent mechanical condition and needs no reconditioning. It should pass a smog inspection. The engine compartment should be clean, with no fluid leaks. The paint is glossy and the body and interior are free of any wear or visible defects. There is no rust. The tires are the proper size and match and are new or nearly new. A clean title history is assumed. This is an exceptional vehicle.

Private Party Value $27,385
Private Party value represents what you might expect to pay for a used car when purchasing from a private party. It may also represent the value you might expect to receive when selling your own used car to another private party.

The only option I added was a CD player, every thing else is standard equipment. Trust me Corvettes hold there vaule. If they did not, I would be driving one.

Heck one that is 10 years old and is in great condition still can pull 10K easy.
