I was waiting for some one to post this since last night, but it seems as if America news agencies are turning a blind eye to the plight of the Palestinians.

Once again the Jewish state extended their settlement over neighboring territories.

Stuff like this really makes me question if Israel is truly interested in peace. Their strategy seems to amount to poking the enemy with a stick repeatedly, then claiming to be a victim when they come under attack, and using the opportunity to bulldoze more territory.

That more like deliberately/permanently plant your ass on a hornet hive then cries when the hornets attack.

OK, if Israel really wanted to get rid of the palestinians they would. It would take all of about 4 hours for them to clean the place out. No Arab nation is going to do dick about it either because they know Israel will mop the floor of anyone that tries.

Yep and they know if they did that they would lose all international goodwill in one fell swoop. Thus they seem to want to pick away at Palestine piece by piece, which is clearly what is happening here.

From a BBC link on the OP page:

Palestinian water crisis deepens

Many Palestinians have to rely on irregular water supplies by lorry
A World Bank report blames Palestinian mismanagement and Israeli restrictions for severe water shortages in Palestinian areas.

Palestinians get only a quarter of the water Israelis have access to.

The existing problems affect not just daily supply but the development of water resources, water uses and wastewater management.

"Water related humanitarian crisis are in fact chronic in Gaza and parts of the West Bank," says the report.

For their water Palestinians in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip are completely depended on scarce resources controlled by Israel.

This has led to "systematic and severe constraints on Palestinian development of water resources", says the report.

But the Palestinian Authority (PA) too gets part of the blame. It is struggling to establish even a basic water infrastructure and management, concludes the report.

Water supplies continue to "operate in a very inefficient emergency mode, with far reaching economic, social and environmental consequences".

'Grossly misleading'

The mismanagement is made worse by movement and access restrictions which Palestinians live under. As a result Israelis have about four times as much water available to them as people in the West Bank and Gaza.

Israeli officials said the report was "grossly misleading" as Israel had a much more developed industrial sector which could skew the assessment.

But in Gaza 150,000 Palestinians have no access to tap water at all, a report in the Palestine Telegraph says.

According to the local utility provider, several wells have been destroyed during the Israeli offensive earlier this year.

Since then only three out of 80 trucks with spare parts and pipes for the water system have been allowed to enter Gaza.

As a result the severe damages to two wastewater treatment plants could not be repaired and continue to affect water quality.

Maybe they should have thought of that before launching rockets on a daily basis at Isreal...

Which begs the question, does Palestine really want peace? If so, launching rockets may not be the best way to convey that message...in my humble opinion...

We're not turning a blind eye.
We know about every bad thing that happens on the entire planet. That fancy little internet you currently post on can also be used to retrieve information.

Can you please explain why we should be the Earth Police when we have monumental problems at home?

In the context of what was said the dude has a point!
There is no arab nation that would come to the defense of the Palestinians id Idrael truly wanted to be done with the issue!

That has nothing to do with Hitler.
Whats sad is that NOArab nation would have synpathy for the palestinians and step in to help them...

You should save that response for the news story when Israel tortures all Palesenian babies and puppies. After all, the Palestenians should have thought of that before launching rockets on a daily basis (if they have, which they haven't) at Israel. Indeed, Israel has carte blance to do anything, they can do no wrong, because of that license.

No matter what the story is about them, the answer is your post.

Of course, the many years the Palestenians did not launch any rockets at Israel, what you predicted happened - they were treated well, and gained their own nation and rights.

That did happen, right? It's not as if Israel still treated them badly, and the US just ignored it while the rockets were not going off.

I'd like to see you have to become a Palestenian and live in Gaza. Sadly, that won't happen, and you are free to keep your blissful ignorance.

The resemblance to Hitler was in his tone that maybe it's not such a bad idea.

I disagree that no Muslims nation would step in, I think they would. I'd hope *we* would.

Your question would be more appropriate if we hadn't given so much weaponry to Israel.

You use the BBC as a source not realizing the BBD has always been anti - Israel and then you use the Independent World as a source of a hidden agenda....rofl..sad and pathetic.

Lets take some excerpts from the BBC article --
"Israel has taken a step towards expanding the largest settlement in the West Bank, a move Palestinians warn will leave their future state unviable and further isolate its future capital, East Jerusalem "

The Jerusalem issue is a huge stumbling block. There is noway Israel will allow any nation to make any part of Jerusalem their capital. --- BBC knows that but still decides to add drama to the issue.

The Israeli Peace Now group, which monitors settlement growth, said it had obtained plans drawn up by experts that the interior ministry had commissioned which call for expanding the sprawling Maale Adumim settlement near Jerusalem southward by 1200 hectares, placing what is now the separate smaller settlement of Kedar within Maale Adumim's boundaries.

Yeah right...they got there hands on plans drawn up by experts that calls for expanding.....must be a slow news day...all this group wants is attention.

Need i go on...this all speculation with no absolute proof.

Finally -- Syria recently said it would be willing to resume indirect talks as long as they focused on a complete Israeli withdrawal from the Golan Heights, which Israel captured in 1967.

The spoils of war goes to the victor. Plain and simple.

My bad, asking the news agencies to become the World Police.

America Fuck Yeah!

Emperors territorial expansions and stealing other countries resources is label as interests protection. While the people that fight to defend them self from the invaders are label as pirates, rebel, commies, and terrarrists.

The US, USSR, EU, China, Japan, and Israel "world police/invasions" are to steal resources from neighboring countries. While countries that truly needed help with out natural resources are left to languish in their blood bath

Then it is fair enough to say that there weren't a holocaust, and all Jews that died in vain are just a result of simple skirmishes.

Thus Jews should just suck it up, and move on instead of crying daily about a few undermenchen deaths 60+ years ago.

There actually is an argument as to why they just allowed that to happen to themselves. They were the underdogs then and that was a horrible thing to happen but millions die in africa all the time and we don't give a shit. Anyways they are on top now and so the reality is they have been shaped by their past. They will never let anyone walk all over them again and they will kill whoever they need no matter if that turns them into what they hate.

Yeah you are totally right...All of the Palestinians are peace loving people who want nothing more than to frolic in the meadows with the butterflies and unicorns. They don't have any problems when they see a rocket launcher being setup next to a hospital or school or next door to their apartment building...they would rather bitch about the devastation that occurs afterwards instead of telling their fellow cowardly and gutless comrades to set up the launchers elsewhere...

are you this full of yourself in real life also???

wait. You can't say they are cowardly and gutless. They are just fighting the only way they can. Thats not a fair statement . You can bomb the shit out of them and everything within a mile of them but it takes guts to put yourself in a situation that you might die from no matter what.

well the British were mad at us for not lining up and shooting at each other during the revolutionary war. People do what they have to. Technology has made it impossible for people to fight a conventional war against those with it. and I'm not crying. kill them all so what? Just don't cry when rockets fall on your head or some women blows herself up in your markets. Honestly you are all doomed when we don't need the oil in the region anymore you will become like Africa.
