Do you think news anchor are too emotionally attached when they read the news(for their own good)?

btw, when I say anchor I mean anyone on tv delivering the news.
 
Not usually, but there have been times I've seen anchors too emotional. Sometimes I just want the facts though. Take 9/11 for example. Dan Rather kept a very professional attitude, because he knew that everyone was grieving and wanted the news straight up. I'm glad that he was the one reporting, I would have had a much worse day if there had been a reporter bawling all day instead of his staying professional.
