Emo haircuts: Yes or No?

The whole emo fad is bullsh!t. I just finished up helping to teach kids Computer Programming at a summer camp for 6-9th graders, and there was this one emo girl in the group (from the haircut and the clothes). So I say to myself, "I bet she's on mySpace, has a livejournal/xanga, and listens to Good Charlotte." Take a wild guess at what sites she was surfing during the break, and what music she was listening to on her iPod. And yes, we do have to monitor what the kids are doing because we are held liable.

Asians (I know the Japanese do, at least) were having hair like that long before emos cried their way into high school.

actually you know what. i realized a couple months ago i own too many black articles of clothing. i recently went to pac sun and bought some brighter/louder shirts and some less baggy pants. i never actually realized i had been dressing like that...

i even bought some boardshorts 😀

I'm gonna go against the grain here, *puts on flame suit*

I like emo hair, I like emo music, and I think emo girls are hot.

i think emo chicks are hot but they are too friggin emotional/crazy

Some of those guys looked prettier than girls. =/

Anywho, I can't really say much about emo hair because mine's somewhat emo-ish, but mine can also look sophisticated if need be. Some of that hair on that clip wasn't so bad, but others were just horrendous.

my little sister has a bunch of emo friends with thsoe same haircuts, and she likes good charlotte too =\. I hope she grows out of this phase. She also constantly reads other's myspace pages. I tell her to never look at myspace becuase of the nudity that people put on them, she's only 14.

emo haircuts are not my cup of tea but not nearly as distasteful and stuff like gold/diamon teeth, all over body piercings, full body tattoos, pants waists around the azz and 5 sizes too big tee shirts.

But to each his own... all i can say is... if i were hiring, i know who i would and would not give a job to.

🙂

I think they were a little different. I don't remember ever seeing spikes in the back, but bangs in the frong. Asians had it long all around.
