hi all!

i bought kingston 2x1GB KHX6400D2LLK2/1GN. the supposed timing is 4-4-4-12.
but when i look into the BIOS and CPU-Z, it's showing 5-5-5-15.
according to PC probe, the DRAM voltage is 1.95v.

my question is, if i change the timings to 4-4-4-12, do i have to change the voltage? if i have to, what voltage is appropriate?

i'm really noob in this kinda stuff...

*oh yeah 1 more thing, might be off-topic

ehem about 3dmark06 advanced edition 1.1.0 (asus provide this). this is my first time running it. however, the "scan for system configuration" is quite long, and i never finished the scan. how long will it take for the scan to complete actually? coz i've been waiting for more than 20mins, but still scanning... can anyone tell me?

Look at the documentation of the RAM you bought. Select the appropriate voltage indicated and set the timings to their specifications as well. According to the Kingston website it states:

KHX6400D2LLK2/1G 1GB 800MHz DDR2 Non-ECC Low-Latency CL4 (Kit of 2) 4-4-4-12 2.0V

So set the voltage to 2.0v and timings as indicated. Just for your reference HERE is the Data Sheet. Good luck & have fun :D
