When I first saw the trailer the movie didn't really interest me at all and I had no plans to see it... but then it got to the part where Eminem is getting beaten up and I started to reconsider. ;)

Although I don't claim that Eminem's music is by any means politically correct, appropriate or otherwise, some of it does have a good beat (Without Me). Remember, it's just PARODY. He allows us to reflect on ourselves and laugh. Sure, there are more tactful ways to do it, but I personally enjoy his sarcasm.

Oh sure, and I laughed and reflected on myself when he told the Vice First Lady of the United States to f* off. :disgust:

I'll just talk to my dad. He grew up on that road and in the surrounding area.

Since I live by there I'm probably going to take some digital pics of the places the scenes were taken and compare them to the movie.

Isn't Eminem from closer to 17 mile rd, than 8 mile?

Actually, Mrs. Cheney and every other 'political wife' before her who seems to think the lyrical content of music is an important social issue can INDEED fsck off.
