I want to open an account. Does anyone know of referral bonuses for this? I know ING gives like $25 for referred accounts or something, but 3% > 2.35%.

No they do not have any referral incentives/bonuses.

That's why my wife and I signed up for individual accounts.

$50 ING direct bonus x 2
$250 ING direct bonuses (25 referrrals x $10 per referral) x 2

$600 for FREE (we do have to pay taxes on it though) in our first year

I don't think so since she is a co-signer and is already considered an ING Direct customer.

That's why I opened INDIVIDUAL accounts for my wife and I. Two $50 bonuses PLUS $500 total referrals.
