Emeril's New Orleans Fish House in Las Vegas

A few friends want to go to the Emeril's New Orleans Fish House for lunch while we're in Vegas, and was curious if any of you guys have eaten there. I am sure it's going to be sort of expensive, but want to know if I will at least get a good lunch out of the deal.

I'm looking to eat steak or pasta for dinner at least one night, so I am willing to hear restaurant recommendations for that also.

I went there for dinner a few years back with a few friends.. like 6 of us or so. The bill came out to be around $360 (I think with tip included). I loved the scallops my friend ordered, and the steak I had was delicious.

I've read multiple reviews online that it rocks. It's expensive, but seems like it's worth it.

On a side note, let me know of any good places to eat that you find or go to on your trip to Vegas. I'm heading out over Super Bowl this year and trying to look for a few new places to eat this time around.

I've only been to the Emeril's in Universal Studios. The food was excellent so I'd expect the rest of his places to be of the same quality.

This is a pretty ironic statement IMHO.

Emeril has a lot of different restaurants around the country. His best is at Universal Studios in Flordia IMO, but there's a 6 month reservation list He has a second one at one of the hotel resorts near there, but they serve trendy Asian food--not his strong point.

The stuff is hit/miss, but it's always interesting.

Please explain? I think Bouchon is a much better restaurant, with much better food, run by a much better chef. How is that ironic?

The Emeril's fish house in Vegas is excellent, even better than the on in Orlando.

I also highly recomend the Top of the World at the Stratosphere for a good meal with a spectacular view.

Depending on where your from Vegas is a great place to sneak in an In-n-Out burger visit as well!

another vote for bouchon at the Venetian. The place is impossible to find unless you live in the Venezia suites but the food is top notch, I personally love their steak frite,
I also went to Emeril's Delmonico steakhouse when I was in Vegas and I thought the food was good. A tab bit salty but very tasty.
