EMERGENCY QUestion: will this ADAPTEC SCSI RAID card fit in my Lian Li PC 60XX case??

i am getting this card: Adaptec AAC-364 with 128MB cache
for my SCSI raid setup.

Dimensions:
Full-size PCI card (12.283 x 4.2 inches; 31.191 x 10.668 cm)


WILL that card fit into my lian li PC 6085 case or ANY PC60XX CASE? Help plz

btw is this card any good with the Cheetah 15.3 K SCSI drives?

Is your case small like this?

If so, then it will not fit with the HDC installed.

What mainboard are you using?

This is an Ultra2 interface. (80MB/S MAX per CH)

You will be severely bottlenecked with 15.3's at the rate of more than one disk/CH.

Are you looking for high STR or I/O? Adaptec cards (even the new ones) are rather poor in the former area.

yes that is my case ,same dimension.. i am planning to get 2 Cheetah 15.3 Ks for RAID 0 on that card. Good idea?

As long as they are on separate channels, you should be OK.

What mainboard?

32/33 PCI will limit you to about 110 MB/S...

hi there, thanks for the reply. Yeah i am using 32 Bit PCI 🙁 if i wanna do RAID with that card, is it a good choice thou? the on board cache makes it appealing. I am using it for video and heavy graphics editing. So what is ur take?

mainboard is probly a Canterwood Board
