How wonderful that this affects fresh Windows installations in their default state... and Windows 7 systems with a Kaby Lake CPU (or Ryzen), won't be allowed to update, per MS policy.

How many more of their own customers will Microsoft throw under the bus, in their quest for Windows 10 market domination.

It looks like Window's own AV faces the same problem as third party produce since it uses elevated permissions.
