Emergency Format

Well, I dont know what is wrong with my current installation, but I am getting a crapload of errors, my plug and play service wont start because some modules aren't there or something...anyways. I want to partition my hard drive, and put some files there I wanted/needed/ to keep, then I format my system partition, to have a nice clean Windows install, then I copy those files off that second partition onto that main partition. I wanted to know if I can join those two partitions again to make one large one and keep my files!

you can with 3rd party programs like partition magic or others. Success rate may vary.
