Just wondering if anyone other than myself has any experience with EMBM in older games on a GF3. I bought a Visiontek GF3 not only to play games that support HW T&L and all of the other nifty stuff the GF3 can do, but also for its ability to do EMBM; specifically, I wanted to enable EMBM in Descent 3 and Battlezone II. In Descent 3 there seem to be lighting glitches, and if you look at a bumped robot or player ship from certain angles the rendered surfaces seem to disappear and all you see is the bump map! In Battlezone II, the surfaces don't disappear but there are lighting problems and a few other glitches as well. Both of these games run perfectly when EMBM is disabled.
Anyway, I called Visiontek and they advised me to try the 12.00 Detonators instead of the 12.41 Detonators I'm using. I'll try it when I get home from work, but in the meantime I wanted to see if some of you have had similar experiences.
