Embedding a Java Applet in a Flash Page

is it possible to designate a portion of a flash page to run a
Java applet ?

http://www.byte-sized.com/

Byte Sized makes a 3D viewer that is a java applet. it's like
using frames to set up part of a browser window to run VRML.

the problem with the BSC3D program is, it brings up all these
security windows, "allow content" etc.

so, while it's tempting to use BSC3D for an online portfolio, it's
not very practical.

BUT if you could embed the Java applet in flash, and show
respect for the programmer license wise (Byte Size charges
$25 to use the program on a personal website), well, it would
be great.

people trust Flash - etc.

is there any way to do this ? i have about 3 months training in
Flash, but it's going pretty well. the instructor is using me to
debug the final project, which i guess is a compliment.

Please Please say there's a way to do it. But, if you say there's
a way to do it, i will ask "how do you do it".
