Well i finally decided to sit down and start to "backup" all my dvd's. I got a bit more than 400 movies to back up. LOL now i think about it, im going to need that seagate 750gb drive...oh well this needed to be done!

EDIT: I got 54 Movies done this weekend and filled 200gb of room :) Just another 350 or so left :) I have two 750gb drives ordered :)

LOL Im not backing them up on discs im putting them on hard drives. Im making a a HTPC with enough storage to hold them. Still working on the storage solution but right now i have 500gb of space.

Absolutly, I am aiming to one day have something like this and would like to be able to just come home from work sit in my theater and pick a movie. Not go through all my cases find one, hope its there then put it into a DVD player.

I thought that too. Then, you know what? After 10 years, I realized I NEVER DO THAT AND 1/3 OF MY FAMILY ROOM IS USED TO HOLD MOVIE CASES.

Now I just keep my top 2 dozen or so and Blockbuster the rest :)
