Embarassing problem-I can't remember if I applied there or not?

I'm a senior in high school, and I'm applying at 9 different colleges. Just when I thought I was done applying at all of them and was putting the transcript request forms together to bring to my counselor tomorrow, I realized I couldn't find one for one school I (thought) I applied at: Illinois-Wesleyan University. I couldn't find a counselor/transcript form for that one place. Wait a minute, did I ever actually apply there? I have no confirmation from them. But I could have sworn I did...

So, you see my predicament. If I fill out the app (possibly) again, then I look like a damn fool submitting two applications weeks apart. If I hold off, well, duh, there's an obvious problem. I emailed admissions and asked for "confirmation of receipt of my application materials," they haven't responded yet. I can't believe I just plain can't remember if I filled theirs out or not. Since it's online, I have no photocopies of any of my apps, just confirmation emails. Sigh, anything else you recommend I do? Or is that about all I can do?

Mocking laughter and flames well deserved here. I feel like such a dumbass.
 
Maybe you shouldn't be going to college.

"Did I already take that final? Am I even enrolled in this class?!"
 
Every college gets thousands of applications. They don't give a sh!t if you apply to them 80 times, especially if you pay like $50 an application.

i was laughing my butt off at first tho ^^ but dun sweat it, or just call and tell them that you are confirming if you received your app or not or whatever you can come up with.
 
just call them and ask if they received your app. they will tell you.

Yeah, I shot admissions an email asking about the status of my app...they didn't have one. 😱 Time to act surprised, and fill it out.
