Embarassed by an Aries! Time to mod my Dodge Colt for some serious HP! (pic!!!!111)

So I was waiting at a red light and this playa in an '85 Aries pulls up next to me. I look over and I'm like "look at that fool in his Aries, thinks his sh1t don't stink". I think I hear him revving so I turn down my system for a minute. Yeah he is, he's brake torquing the hell out of it. So I get ready and put my Colt into neutral and keep it at redline. The light turns green and he gets on it. Dag he got a good launch, I can hardly see him through all the blue smoke. So I'm like yeeeah it's on and I pop my Colt into drive. My Sears Guardsman tires get the good traction since I get no wheel spin even though it's pouring rain and I just did a full-throttle neutral slam! So he's pulling away big time, but I'm almost at 35mph and I feel the 2.2 liter starting to reach it's powerband but the pussy in his Aries decides to get off at the next exit. wtf! So I feel my tranny slam into top gear (3rd) and I keep the pedal to the floor, I'm almost at 70 now but the Aries is gone so shut it down and go home to figure out what that clunking noise is that keeps coming from my CV joints. I figure with the following mods my Colt will beat an Aries:

30% tint
Stage II weight removal, backseat, wipers, headlights, spare tire, etc.
Cat foward exhaust - 40hp
Adjusting my outtake manifold - 20hp
K-pipes facing upwards - 25hp
tape on the grille
Red spark plug wires -15hp
No aircleaner - 7 1/2hp

what do you guys think?
 
I used to have an Aries, passed down to me by my grandmother who bought it from a rental agency of all places. Around 85K it started losing compression in one or two of the cylinders. I bet you could've beaten that car. 😛
 
this dude that's in my racing club said i should get one of those electric turbochargers off Ebay! Does NE1 think this will work?????!!!11 I've got some tools, I can probably put it in myself. It seems easy enuff from the insructions
 
Although I believe the original post to be made tongue-in-cheek, don't both cars have the same engine? The colt should win!

yeah i think this must've been one of those souped up Aries cuz this thing wasnt stock yo. i'm thinking his aries must run 11's with a trap speed of 140mph, it seemed that fast next to the Colt. My Colt usually beats up on the Escorts and Hyundai Excels and I spanked a Subaru Justy just the other day. werd

no way dude! the guy I bought my 3' x 2' stickers from said they add at LEAST 35-40hp...although these are pretty big stickers, and now yuor can't even see the paint on the car, I go SO much faster now. Best investment EVAR
