I had my domain registered at Godaddy. I then do my hosting at HoboHost. I like the 10 email addresses, WordPress and MySQL databases deal. Anyway, It seems most email sent from Hobohost bounces back!!!
The error in the response header usually shows it's been caught due to suspicious activity and/or invalid. Example

SMTP error from remote mail server after initial connection:
554 walimpinc11 bizsmtp Connection refused. XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX has a poor reputation on Cloudmark Sender Intelligence (CSI)
Or
SMTP error from remote mail server after RCPT TO:<XXXXX@XXXX.com>:
550 5.7.1 Service unavailable; Client host [XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX] blocked using FBLW15; To request removal from this list please forward this

When doing some research it seems the IP (host) can't be found via a nslookup. I was reading that if that is the case, some mail filter will actually refuse the mail on this basis. Of course I've contacted HoboHost and they indicated that the IP is great everywhere. They posted a link indicated that it wasn't blacklisted anywhere....
