email with attachement but you can't get attachment?

Any of you have problem with receiving emails with attachment but you can't "see" the attachment?

I know some friends send me emails with attachments, and I see the file size is 200+ kb, but when I open the email, there's no attachment. :|

What's going on?

I'm using Outlook express, by the way.

outlook express XP, right? That owuld be MS "protecting" you from viruses. Its strips off the exe.

Umm...no, Win98. Not .exe, mostly .doc, .xls, or .ppt. What's weird is if I reply to the sender asking them to resend. When they resend, the attachments show up. WTF is going on? Annoying to have to keep asking them to resend... :disgust::|
