Email to SMS disable

I can't decide if I should disable it or not. Worried some companies still use it that are not spam.

Like my alarm system or anything else that is legitimate.

You wouldn't get my mass messages. I regularly send email to SMS messages to a gaggle of folks when timeliness counts. Trying to build an S&M group with a hundred people is a pain in the butt. With email, it's easy.

Are you really getting that many spams from it? Mine come from a phone # not an email addy, almost all political... as if I'd vote for someone that I wouldn't have otherwise, because they spammed me.

I do sometimes send email to SMS or vice versa.
