Email, Thunderbird, not checking all mailboxes

Morning All,

I use a couple of registered domains for custom email addresses, plus some ISP and Gmail mailboxes all configured in Mozilla Thunderbird email client. There are presently 39 mailboxes being configured identically to check, but a handful of them are not getting checked.

Under Account Tools/Settings they are listed, but I am not sure if their entries there are the order in which they are to be checked. If so, some of the mailboxes not getting checked are within the first ten and some are not.

I state this last bit because I am aware that in Outlook Express (think XP days) it would check only the first 32 entries and required a manual checking of anything beyond the 32 mailbox.

Anyway, I click 'Get new messages' button and it seems to go through the lot, but then if I go back and manually go through them about 4-5 mailboxes seem to not be checked and I get mail from them only during a manual check (vs. a check all boxes).

I've checked the server settings and all mailboxes are configured the same, by intention, but the operational behavior is unexpected. Anyone else run into this? Its been happening for several months and through several updates.

I've never had that, but I only have a handful of mailboxes. You might have better luck pinging the devs at Mozilla. It might be a bug.

Edit:
Perhaps the network is timing out, so it skips it. Will all boxes get mail eventually?

Actually, its the exact same mailboxes every time, and the POP servers being accessed are being accessed for other mailboxes that never experience this issue. But, I think you are right. I should ping the devs.
