I get ~10 of these a day.

Man these make me mad. No unsubscribe link, and the emails all come from a different sender and a different server! I think they are hijacking mail servers or something.

Any ideas on how to stop it? I don't really want to filter it, but I could.

Here is a typical email, with headers:

I know that most ISP's offer free spam control with each email address. In the spam control options you could block a whole domain. I know it works if you just type like "@aol.com" for a exsample. But not total sure if you can just type in a IP address and block it. It's worth the try to see if it works or not.

The problem is, they are coming from different domains each time.

Received: from [61.104.146.178] (helo=datamangroup.com)
From: "Lynne Peterson" <l.peterson_zp@cnicapital.com>

These 2 domains seem to be random and are never repeated in any of the emails I get.
It's like they are using free or open email servers... or are just masking it somehow.

Track it?

Even the government agencies have hard time tracking it.

Stop it?

Who ever find away is up to become very rich and may be getting some humanitarian award.

Reduce it? Yeah by bieng your own Master.

Get your own domain and email space (very easy these days, and less then $2 a month).

Most Hosting servers come with filters and you can add your own.

Otherwise for local use I found MailWasher to be helpful.
