Hello all,

I am new. Please help me get up to speed. 🙂

I did already look in the FAQ; noluck on this.

Here's my concern. Does the owner/operator of this forum (AnanTech and/or Mushkin) have any promise in effect to a member that the email address will be kept only between AnandTech & the member, never sold, rented, for any solicitation or SPAM?
I DO know enough to keep my forum setting on "email hidden".
My Hotmail address is banned, but I only use that as a throwaway for risky stuff that may reveal my email addy to spambot, etc..

Frankly, I'd prefer my real name (first only) and actual, home email instead of a free-webmail, but do not trust the forum (yet) for that.

Can anyone provide details or a link on this, please? Thanks.

We never sell or otherwise provide members' names, email addresses, or other information in our files to anyone. The only exception to this rule is if we are tracking a thief (For Sale/Trade forum) or other abuser of our forums. In such cases, we will provide that information to an abuser's ISP, or to legal authorities, as necessary.

Enable PM's (Private Messaging) and PM us if you need further information.
