A typical nigerian-esque scam. Except it's from an old christian widow who wants to share her dead husband's estates. It seems my friend's father took the bait, the email being all christian and all. My friend is just as clueless. The following is a reply, they're clever enough to attach a picture of a old white couple, disguising as "Mr. & Mrs. Bakari."

The bottomline is this. I know it's a scam, you know it's a scam- from miles away. But my friend doesn't know.

Help me find some sort of proof that directly links to this email. Snopes.com didn't have this particular email, only the Nigerian ones.

There's a sucker born every minute.

I hope they are smart enough to realize (at SOME point) that this is a scam.

first line of the email.
Did they send a letter to "Mr and Mrs. Bakari"?
What? No?!
Then why would they be writing you back saying they received your letter?
Simple enough.
