Email problems.. outlook/outlook express !!

Hi guys,

Here's the deal: OUtlook express and Outllook 2000 keeps prompting for a password when I try to retrieve mail. Sending is ok but recieving is not.

I've confirmed that the pop server is correct by various ways. I've telnetted into it ok. I even use an external email service to retrieve the mail and it works.. (yahoo in this case)

So why is Outlook Express | Outlook 2000 so picky?

under accounts for outlook/outlook express where you input your passwords did you check to remember the passwords?? also they might be case sensititve. do it thru accounts property. make sure your password is correct

Sounds like a password to me also I have heard of checking Log on using Secure password Authentication can cause something like this.
