What would you all think a valuable email name would be? I mean like if AOL started all over what name would you try to get?

well, depending on what you're going for. i personally wouldn't choose a generic one, because of all the spam you would get, if you were on aol.

I have a cool one from years ago: ripoff@bigfoot.com. Still active, too. Of course, since I own 35 domains, making my own addresses isn't much of a problem.

i'm not aware of people selling email addresses, but maybe you know more than i do....

On AOL attempts to do so are very common. A friend of mine has, among other screen names, firefawn (I own this one as a domain) and shygal. She gets contacted quite frequently about selling them.
