I received a warning because I hadn't entered my email address. I could have sworn I did this as soon as we moved to vBulletin. This is fixed, though it's pretty confusing. I went through all of my options, saw my email was set, saw that contact visibility was set to "anyone". For a while, I thought I was really missing something, then I found the FS/FT specific email section - didn't know it had to be duplicated.

Could that be made clearer somewhere?

This isn't clear? How would you suggest it be improved?

Perhaps add the fact that you need to edit it under profile, not email/password, to the top big bolded part.

EDIT: not trying to be annoying - I very well may be the only person that misread the smaller text below the bolded text and misunderstood this. But I did make every effort to make sure my email was displayed, and still missed the part where it should have been set.

Hmmm, I had to copy "FS/FT Email" into Google and get referred back to here to find out that FS/FT may be a secret language that us newbies will bump against until we discover the hidden meaning. I am guessing it is Text Email that goes to whomever it is addressed. But I will find out after I have finished going through all the menu items as I finish my registration and profile updates. I am not a newbie in the world of computers but I am on this site. I am here to get answers and maybe even share some wisdom if I find I have any worth sharing. I promise I will never be so arrogant as to presume that everyone has my ability to read everything in one gulp. By the by, thanks for letting me join your fine site.

I'm not sure what the issue is... I mean aside from the rules being accessible and clear if you read them, all that happened is you were told to update it. I can assure you that a "warning" is nothing but conveying info to you via the mods. It's not something to get worked up over.
