email delayed for 4 years

hahahaha sometimes i think my job is boring, but then something like this comes up and it's all worth it... i do tech support for an archaic email list system that has problems left and right that usually fix themselves. apparently somebody sent a message to a list, it got held up for one reason or another, and now, 4 years later, the problem has fixed itself and the message has been dutifully delivered to the list subscribers. i dunno, i find this immensely amusing.

Of course I doubt we'll ever find out what it really said.

nothing interesting, really:

Please join microcredit specialists from Global Partnerships, a
Seattle-based non-profit organization working to advance sustainable
solutions to poverty. For four years, Global Partnerships has been
involved in providing financial and technical support to microcredit
programs in Latin America. Global's founder, Bill Clapp, will be joined
by financial manager and trainer Howard Brady, and program manager (and UW
graduate!) Max Savishinsky to talk about Global Partnership's role in
microcredit, and the Northwest's larger role and responsibility in
advancing sustainable solutions to poverty.

Lol, that's classic 😛

Now I find that VERY ironic that they mention four years in their message, and it's delayed for that long.
