I have been using a program called eprompter but I have been having problems with it the last couple of weeks. When I open it sometimes it will get like stuck updating and it slows my connection and makes my whole system sluggish.

Any suggestions on a new one?

development has stopped, but it's much more than an email checker. because development has stopped, the author has released a general registration key for everyone to use. anyway, like i said, it's much more than an email checker and works pretty damn good. i really wish someone would pick up the project and fix bugs and enhance it more. relatively small footprint as well

anyway, check it out, i've been using it for years
 
Thanks eklass I just downloaded it. Although I am not sure about installing buggy software. I already have that. 😉 I am just looking for something to give visual and audio when I have email. Eprompter worked great up til a few weeks ago. My neighbor asked me the other day if my road runner had been acting goofy and I said yes. What I am getting at is my internet connection may be behind the problems that I am having with eprompter.
