Email blocker?

I can't see how such a thing would possible - by the time the mail makes it to your inbox, your mail server has already accepted it for delivery, confirming that the address exists. You can't really do what you're asking at the client level.

MailWasher can 'bounce' email. I don't think it's all that effective though. Return addresses on spam are mostly either fake or ignored.

would mailwasher bounce it back to original sender? Not really spam i'm dealing with just an ex-girlfriend who's a little wacko right now

Yes it does. You enable the bouncing feature, setup SMTP, and blacklist her address. I think that's how it works anyway, I don't use it.

I have used MailWasher for years - it gets better. Now version 5.2, I believe for MW Pro. It bounces to the recorded sender. But - if mail is sent to a non-existent address, it will be bounced by the host server as DAEMON. There are several mail filtering companies out there - my ISP is currently under Nationwide, and they use Can-It by Roaring Penguin Software. It is the most sophisticated Spam filtering ware I have seen.

Can-It

That is my first line of defense. Only a very few messages a day get to my POP3 box, and then I use MailWasher to check them out - headers and all without downloading. Then I can bounce, delete or accept.
