So a friend received a spam email from the following address:

admin@eometwor.comsubscribers@caseyresearch.com

In Outlook, when he tries to add it to his block folder, a message comes up that says not a valid email or domain. I know it's because it's one string with two emails with no separator.

I'm having him enter each email separately on his block list.

I guess my point and confusion is, how is an email w/ 2 @ symbols possible?

Generally, no. It was probably just an error.

In the old days of UUCP, you could get email addresses that had long strings of names separated by exclamation points, though. :)

You'd think they could come up with a better design all together. 4 independent legs and it walks? Gee, no weak spots there.

All the smart designers were busy making "wedge" shaped ships.

Sure they may have fallen in the end but they did manage to conquer a good number of planets with their troops and walkers. How many planets have you conquered Mr Arm-Chair-General? :colbert:

It looks like it's 2 different emails

admin@eometwor.com
scribers@caseyresearch.com

But not sure how they got strung together like that.

its not a valid email address, but anyone that has written code to write emails knows you can put whatever you want there :)

it was the 70s, people need to relate to something they were aware of, like knights, swords and elephants and so on in the battlefield, fuel injected flying machines... they needed a certain "character". If you ask me, the whole idea of star wars was pretty weak...

That's because George Lucas was pretty weak. He was basically just responsible for an idea which lots of talented people helped make really great.

And since he wasn't 'OMG GEORGE LUCAS,' he wasn't given free reign over everything. We found out what happens when you do that (those other three....'films'...)

You mean "space opera".

I sure as heck didn't hear any singing in Star Wars.
