email address update error in profile

I get the following error when i try to update my email address.

error you do not have permission to access this forum.

error code: 578

it does not matter how many times I log in, I still get this error.

Did you make sure you aren't trying to use a email service that is not allowed, hotmail, yahoo, etc.?
