Comcast is my ISP. I also receive email from two accounts that are not Comcast. When trying to reply, I get an error message and the email will not send.

Is there a workaround for this?

You may need to check the SMTP authentication or "My outgoing server requires authentication" box in Options. My ISP is Comcast as well, I send and receive from multiple accounts using Outlook.

Thanks! That seems to have done it.

I sent an email from a Yahoo account to a gmail account that I have my OE configured to receive using Comcast my ISP.

I received it and replied and it showed up in the Yahoo account.

I think that did it anyway. Quite confusing actually.

I've run into an error message here at home before but I really need to correctly configure a few accounts at the wife's office. I have their OE set up to receive email through the company website that I subsequently found they could not reply to.

Thanks again.
