emachines new laptop - when?

emachines.com is out of their m6811 and its only seller - Best Buy is out of stock. The rep at emachines has no idea when the next one wil be released (there is a new one every 3 months), or what the specs will be - only that it should have been out by now (for October). This does make me reconsider if I want to get an emachine - since apparently - they have no f'ing idea what they are making next.

I was interested in the emachine - AMD 64 3400+ witht h e ATI card - any similar products - with a similar price?
 
It can be every 3 to 4 months. I wager they know what they are making but don't want to let us know yet. E has been good about doing just that. How would them not telling you what they plan on releaseing make you reconsider weather you want to buy a product from them or not. Now if they were going bankrupt or something that would make me doubt them. But becuase they dont' wish to let the public in on this that is just stupid.

just to let you know, BB will be getting several (up to 15) new laptops throughout the month of august. very likely one will be a e-machine
