Emachines m6805 Infrared port?

Sorry if this has been covered in another thread, but I searched the forum and on google for about 30min to no avail. I've had many laptop, and one thing I never used was the infrared port, so I neglected to check if my emachines m6805 had one when i bought it. I now use a cell phone that has an infrared port, and I have the software to synchronize its calender with outlook. However, for the life of me, I can't find the infrared port on the m6805. Is there even one on this unit? Thanks for looking.

nope doesn't have an IR port. In fact, I doubt most if not all the laptops sold at B&M stores have infrared ports. I'd assume they've been phased out a while ago.

I've only seen IR ports on higher end notebooks. Specifically, IBM. Dunno if other companies like Sager or Fujitsu would, but the non-retail companies would be the ones I would check.
